1. Scope and Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how AiSound, Inc. ("AiSound," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects Personal Information when you use a pre-launch AiSound website or related web page that links to this Policy (the "Website"). AiSound is a Delaware corporation and is generally responsible for Personal Information collected through the Website.

This Policy does not apply to employee or job-applicant information governed by a separate notice, or to a third-party service that you independently access. If another AiSound service presents a separate privacy notice, that notice governs the processing it describes.

"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with an individual or household, including equivalent terms such as "personal data" where applicable. Deidentified or aggregated information is not Personal Information to the extent applicable law treats it as non-personal and AiSound maintains it in deidentified form.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide. Depending on how you use the Website, we may collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, telephone number, company or professional information, message content, waitlist or launch-interest information, survey responses, event or promotion information, and other details you submit through a form or communication. Please do not submit medical records, financial account credentials, government identification numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through a general Website contact form unless AiSound specifically requests it through an appropriate secure process.

2.2 Device, browser, network, and usage information. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring or exit pages, date and time of access, pages viewed, interactions with Website content, cookie or similar identifiers, and security, performance, or diagnostic information.

2.3 Cookies and similar technologies. We may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, or similar technologies to keep the Website functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic and usage, secure the Website, diagnose problems, and measure the effectiveness of communications or campaigns. Where applicable law requires consent for nonessential technologies, we will request it or provide other required choices.

2.4 Information from third parties. We may receive limited information from service providers and partners that support Website hosting, analytics, security, communications, sign-in, events, or campaign measurement, as well as information you authorize another service to provide to us.

3. How We Use Information

We may use Personal Information to: operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website; respond to inquiries, requests, feedback, and support communications; manage waitlists, launch notifications, events, promotions, or other pre-launch communications you request or permit; understand Website traffic, engagement, performance, and campaign effectiveness; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity; comply with law, legal process, and enforceable requests, and establish or defend legal claims; protect AiSound, our users, partners, and others; and create aggregate or deidentified information for analytics, business planning, and product improvement where permitted by law.

We do not use the public pre-launch Website as a means to collect hearing-assessment or sound-profile data. If a future AiSound product collects information of that nature, the applicable service will provide additional privacy disclosures and controls before or at the time of collection.

4. Communications and Marketing

If you ask to receive updates, join a waitlist, request information, or otherwise provide contact information, AiSound may use it to respond to you and to send service, launch, product, event, or promotional communications where permitted by law. You may opt out of promotional email by using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary responses or transactional communications related to a request you made.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Privacy Choices

AiSound may use analytics and campaign-measurement providers to understand Website use and the effectiveness of outreach. We do not sell Personal Information for money. Some privacy laws use broader definitions of "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" that can include certain disclosures of device identifiers or activity information for advertising or measurement. If AiSound engages in activity covered by those definitions, we will provide any notice, consent, opt-out mechanism, or recognized opt-out preference signal required by applicable law.

Where legally required, AiSound will honor qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity. You can also use your browser or device settings to manage cookies and similar technologies; disabling some technologies may affect Website functionality.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose Personal Information in the following circumstances: service providers — vendors may process information for Website hosting, analytics, communications, security, customer support, events, or other services on AiSound's behalf, subject to appropriate contractual obligations; your direction — we may disclose information when you ask us to, consent to it, or intentionally interact with a third-party service; legal and safety purposes — we may preserve, access, or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests, investigate fraud or security issues, protect rights or safety, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and corporate transactions — information may be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law and confidentiality protections.

We do not disclose Personal Information to third parties for their own independent purposes except as described in this Policy, at your direction, or as permitted or required by law.

7. Children

The Website is not intended for independent use by children under 13, and AiSound does not knowingly seek to collect Personal Information online from children under 13 through the public pre-launch Website. If we learn that we collected Personal Information from a child under the applicable minimum age without required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of certain Personal Information; withdraw consent where processing depends on consent; opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or direct marketing; limit certain uses of sensitive information; object to or restrict certain processing; or appeal a privacy-request decision.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, account, or authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to appropriate verification. AiSound will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

9. California and Other U.S. State Disclosures

For users in jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws, the categories of Personal Information AiSound may collect through the pre-launch Website include identifiers and contact information; Internet, browser, device, and electronic activity; approximate geolocation derived from network information; professional or company information you provide; communications and form submissions; and inferences or campaign information derived from Website interactions. We collect and use these categories for the purposes described in Sections 3 through 5 and may disclose them to the recipient categories described in Section 6.

AiSound does not sell Personal Information for money. If Website advertising or analytics activities constitute a regulated sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity under applicable state law, eligible users may opt out as described in Section 5 or by contacting us. We do not knowingly sell or share the Personal Information of children under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising without any consent required by law.

10. International Users

AiSound is based in the United States. Personal Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where AiSound or its service providers operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguard, AiSound will use an appropriate lawful mechanism.

If privacy law in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, Quebec, or another jurisdiction applies to you, you may have additional rights and remedies under local law, including the right to contact or complain to a competent privacy or data-protection authority. Where required, AiSound will provide additional regional information, contacts, or consent mechanisms.

11. Retention

AiSound retains Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Website and requested communications, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention varies based on the type of information, the reason it was collected, user expectations, legal requirements, security needs, and whether information can be aggregated or deidentified. When Personal Information is no longer needed, we delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to permitted backup cycles and legal holds.

12. Security

AiSound uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. Safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption, logging and monitoring, secure development practices, vendor oversight, and incident response. No system can guarantee absolute security.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Website may link to or interact with websites, social platforms, media services, event services, sign-in providers, or other services operated by third parties. When you intentionally interact with a third-party service, that party may collect information independently under its own privacy policy. AiSound is not responsible for independent third-party privacy practices.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Website, our practices, or applicable laws change. We will update the effective date when we revise it. If a change materially affects how we use Personal Information or applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide an appropriate notice and obtain consent where required.
